Helena M. Ribeiro (HMR) has over 35 years of experience in the development of topical pharmaceutical and cosmetic formulations.  She was a trainee at L’Óreal in Paris, undertook PhD research at Université Libre de Bruxelles and University of Strathclyde, and was a Visiting Professor at UNESP in Brazil, in Mozambique and in Spain. She published several scientific papers, book chapters, and patents, among others. HMR’s collaboration with both industry and hospitals across Portugal has resulted in market leading products.
